Fernando Rausell is Libelium’s Sales Area Manager for Smart Cities, Industry and Healthcare projects in Iberia, LATAM and Africa. His work is focused on opening new opportunities in these markets with new customers and distribution agreements and giving support to the existing ones. Fernando has studied Law and completed its education with a Masters in Foreign Trade and International Business. He has a wide experience in international business environments as a consultant and as a sales agent. He has participated and coordinated negotiations for Smart Cities projects since his incorporation in Libelium. He has also lead the development of public tender documents and private proposals mainly in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, where he has contributed to build strong and stable ecosystem. Fernando has participated in multiple international events and conferences where he presented success stories as well as debated about the current and present challenges of the IoT.

Javier Gabás has a large career as managing director and business developer with more than 25 years of experience. He has been working in different sectors such as direct marketing, industrial, energy and technology. In 2014 he joined Libelium as Industry Manager for Agriculture and Environment and since 2017 he is in charge of Smart Agriculture, Water and Research IoT projects in Asia- Pacific region and Africa leading Libelium presence in these regions, opening new opportunities in these markets with new customers and distribution agreements and giving support to the existing ones to develop their business. He has to realize their full potential and execute mutually beneficial plans using internal and external resources to grow revenue and capture new business opportunities.

Hymie Marnewick was previously the Chief Commercial Officer of XLink Communications, and held the position of Executive Director for more than 12 years. He has a strong entrepreneurial and innovative drive coupled with a distinct flair for leadership and business development. Hymie holds over twenty (20) years experience within the IT and retail environment, including six (6) years experience developing IoT related products and services. With his strong project management, staff training, commercial and management skills, Hymie specialises in providing managed solutions within the IoT sector; namely retail connectivity, mobile payments, transportation, environmental monitoring, security, utilities and industrial verticals.

He has advised clients across Media/ICT, Internet of Things, Mall and Shopper Experience Ecosystems, FTTx deployment, Application Development, Mobile Financial Services and Informal Next Generation Distribution on market entry and go to market strategies.

Prior to joining Vodacom Peter was the managing executive at BCX responsible for Industrial/Commercial Internet of Things and Operational Technology Commercialisation.
